Boundary Guidance

Guidance on boundary limitation most certainly where controlled services (chimneys, flues and appliances) are concerned is few and far between, any that do exist are procedurally unclear and ambiguous in relation to what can and what cannot be positioned or installed on or near to a boundary. Land registry will only provide an outline of a property and not footprint measurements and only occasionally will such documents indicate fence or boundary ownership often referred to by an inverted ‘T’.

NACE, with considerable party wall expertise can provide understandable, digestible as well as technically competent controlled services (chimneys, flues and appliances) boundary interpretation for clients who require authoritative clarity.
